Research on Yaw Stability Control Method of Liquid Tank Semi-Trailer on Low-Adhesion Road under Turning Condition

To ensure that a liquid tank semi-trailer has good yaw stability and path-following performance on low-adhesion roads under turning conditions, multi-object PID differential braking-control method is proposed, which takes the tractor rate, articulation angle as control parameters. According to principle of equivalence, trammel pendulum (TP) model used simulate sloshing effect in tank, Fluent software identify key parameters verify correctness its simulation effect. Then, co-simulation built based TruckSim MATLAB/Simulink. Based simplified six degrees freedom semi-trailer, designed, vehicle state responses with without are compared when it road.
